Issei Fubi by JVCCARROOM
There are a handful of Japanese Youtube channels that I follow that are putting out really high-quality content. One of them is JVCCARROOM, a small Japanese media company that focus on drifting. They post event coverage of course, but they also have a number of interesting short documentaries focusing on specific drivers. Their channel is definitely worth following.
This video is from the Issei Fubi (old school drift style club) event at Sportsland Yamanashi earlier this year. 一世風靡走 (Issei fūbi-sō) can be translated a number of ways, but it essentially means “style of the early generation”. The whole idea was to bring out cars that showed off late 90s through early 2000s style.
