Final Bout 7 - Action Shots
For as long as I’ve been blogging and taking pictures at events, I’ve never had the camera equipment required to get good action shots. Before Final Bout 7 I decided to get with the program and bought a Sony Alpha A6400 mirrorless camera body. I also picked up a few lenses to get started with, including a 50mm 1.8 prime, which I used for all these pictures.
Throughout the day, I fiddled with shutter speeds while trying to get my panning motion down. Results were mixed. The vast majority of my shots were either out of focus, or the framing was bad. I also forgot to set the camera to take shots in RAW format. All these shots are in JPG straight off the camera. With that being said, I did manage to capture a handful of shots that I think were decent.
